Claudia Arana is a Mestizo Independent Curator and Cultural Connector, who situates her practice at the intersection of artistic platforms that promote diversity and cultural inclusion, ensuring that a wide range of voices, perspectives, and cultural backgrounds are represented and celebrated. Her curatorial work focuses on the exploration of in-between and mixed cultures that emerge within virtual, physical, political, and social borders.
Employing an interdisciplinary approach, Arana engages with themes of memory and trauma, race and politics, gender and intersectionality, diasporas and transnationalism, power dynamics, equity and representation, as well as international artistic-cultural interactions.
